1st Entry

This is my first entry into my new blog that I have just created regarding my fishing experiences. I have always been into fishing since growing up, but it was not until I think the fish that I caught up at the State University of New York in Potsdam that I really started gaining some attention from those around me. I caught several muskie, that really impressed me and a lot of my friends. I like to fish, and I do so as a form of recreation during free time. I like to catch almost anything, and usually just go with a catch a release.
That was the muskie that I caught in the park across the street from my school.
I caught that one up at a park up the street from my house with my parents in Poughkeepsie. The park is called Greenfield park, and has some surprises in there considering it's so small. I've never gotten a picture of a snapping turtle, but I've caught one in there, and one also in a neighboring late. Interesting I always thought.
I caught this one I think a few summers ago in the Siscowit Reservoir. i was getting a ton of fish that day, i think that that was the largest of them all though.
One of my greatest catches. Offshore, I was able to catch this fish in the Eleanor Roosevelt preserve in Hyde Park, New York. Just a large large mouth bass.
This one also caught at Greenfield.
This one was caught at the Eleanor Roosevelt preserve. Not the biggest, but definitely a nice size. The shore lately is surrounded by moss and duck weed so it doesn't really make for the best fishing, but I was casting a hula popper over it all, and I caught this one at the edge of the weeds, and just reeled it in over them. Nice catch though, I like that spot a lot for fishing. I've even found Morel mushrooms on that trail too, which are a cool, and edible form of mushroom that is very recognizable.

These are just some of my catches. As time goes on, and I catch more, I'll update my blog. It's not every day that I catch a lunker, or a competition worthy fish, I wish, but when I get them again, they'll be up here!
